Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation Inc. (CMCFI) celebrated its 16th anniversary with a meaningful Charity Dinner at the Wack Wack Golf & Country Club, bringing together foundation members, partners, supporters, and beneficiaries.
Embodying its theme, “Hopeful and Grateful,” the evening began with a solemn invocation led by Rev. Fr. Cesar Buhat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila (RCAM). Mr. George T. Barcelon, a member of the Board of Trustees, delivered the welcome address, followed by an organizational presentation led by CMCFI President and Trustee Mr. Raul C. Pagdanganan. Throughout the night, guests demonstrated remarkable generosity to support the foundation’s mission.
For 16 years, CMCFI has extended hope to individuals and families navigating complex health challenges. Among those helped is Michelle Arganda, who was born with congenital heart disease. Michelle shared that while she and her husband longed to start a family, doctors warned that pregnancy posed severe risks to her heart. Through steadfast faith and full medical support from CMCFI, Michelle received the essential heart treatment she needed and successfully gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Michelle is just one of many whose lives have been transformed through the unwavering kindness of the foundation’s donors and partners.
As the evening progressed, guests were entertained by special performances from Dr. Malou Escobar and Mr. John Lesaca. The heartwarming event concluded with a thanksgiving message from Dr. Antonio S. Say, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
