The Department is a leading training institution for anesthesia and pain medicine.

The Department’s 3-year residency program has produced several top anesthesiologists in the Philippines.

Its graduates have passed the Diplomate Examinations with flying colors and have risen through the ranks of the Philippine Society of Anesthesiology. The program presently includes a 2-month rotation to the Pediatric and Cardiovascular Anesthesia Sections of the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital.
