Vaccination for elderly employees begins at Cardinal Santos Medical Center

March 9, 2021

The arrival of the Astrazeneca vaccine made it possible for Cardinal Santos Medical Center to begin protecting our elderly health care workers as the hospital continues its stride to gain herd immunity.

On March 9, one hundred and thirty-four senior citizen healthcare workers, doctors, and contracted employees are scheduled to be inoculated with the Astrazeneca vaccine following the first dose administered to Dr. Zenaida Javier-Uy, Cardinal Santos Medical Center’s Medical Director by DOH Secretary Dr. Francisco Duque III last Saturday, March 6.
