Cardinal Santos Medical Center’s (CSMC) week-long anniversary celebration came to a close with the inauguration of the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Laboratory’s (Cath Lab) newest unit. Members of the Management Committee, Ancillary Services, and Cardiovascular Institute gathered for this momentous event on the afternoon of Aug. 18, 2017.
Cath Lab acquired the latest technology in cardiac intervention – the BRANSIST Alexa Type C12/F12, provided by Shimadzu. This top-of-the-line equipment has high-speed digital imaging technology and real-time imaging process which will enable medical experts to perform cardiac intervention with ease and precision to more patients. “We will continue to fulfill the goals of our catheterization laboratory – to serve our patients with the best of our abilities,” assured by Dr. Erwin Dizon, Chairman of Internal Medicine Department and CSMC Cardiovascular Institute.
