The Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation Inc. (CMCFI) serves as the bridge that connects the resources and benefactors to the expertise and experience of Cardinal Santos Medical Center. Through this synergy, the Foundation is optimized to provide identified recipients with access to specialized care.

To help save and uplift lives and make a difference through foresight, generosity and commitment.
MISSION
* To secure, develop, and manage resources to:
* To support the medical center’s pledge to deliver excellent, efficient and compassionate healthcare to its marginalized patient population.
Expand educational opportunities for its physicians and physician-trainees through support of research and continuing medical education activities that will enhance their ability to deliver quality healthcare.
OBJECTIVES
* Better access to Cardinal Santos Medical Center's (CSMC) medical services, support inpatient and outpatient services for select indigent patients.
* Medical outreach, support programs that respond to local health needs and urgencies
* Health advocacy campaigns, to serve as lead for relevant healthcare problems within the community
* Training and research encourage and support the conduct of research and medical education by and for members of the CSMC Training Programs – the hospital’s future consultant staff.

Medical Assistance Program (MAP)

Providing financial grant to indigent patients of Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC). Program includes Out Patient services, subsidized hospitalization, surgical missions and inter-agency referral.
Share A Meal (SAM) “120 Days Supplemental Feeding Program”
"Improving health one meal at a time."
Designed to provide nutritional and medical support to children diagnose with malnutrition.
Objectives:
To serve a well-balanced lunch meal to children categorized as wasted and severely wasted from 3 to 7 years of age.
To introduced to the children the concept of healthy eating habits by exposing them to health meal choices.
To inculcate the importance of regular medical check for children.
To improve health status of the selected children in terms of weight gain, strong immunity characterized by decrease if sickness acquired during the six months program.

HEalth Advocacy and Literacy (HEAL)

Providing relevant information and education campaigns on disease prevention and control in the community to improve the health seeking behavior of the members of the community.
Objectives:
To implement an integrated community health education and advocacy program customized to the need of the community that will improved their level of understanding on relevant health issues and concern of their community.
To develop healthy habits and practices as well as improvement of the health seeking behavior of identified members of the community.
To set-up a platform of collaboration and referral system between and among local government units, like-minded organizations to make healthcare services accessible and available towards achieving better health outcomes.
To be a recognized partner of the community in providing relevant health programs and initiatives addressing low health literacy rate of underprivileged communities.
Program Components:
Once a month community health lecture
Strategic training and skills enhancement for Barangay Health Workers (BHW)
Better access and availability of preventive health services e.g. screening, diagnostic procedures in partnership with CSMC Out Patient services.
Outreach Missions
Extending health services to other communities with expressed need for health services and support, served as volunteer platform for CSMC Community. Program includes Health and Wellness Outreach Program and Post Disaster Response.
